Bred in the 1960's from the climbing variety, 'Blue Lake' is considered one of the best tasting bush beans. The round, green, stringless pods, 15 - 17 cm long are tender and sweet; the seeds are white. It is heavy bearing and copes well with summer heat. Suitable for freezing. Pick daily, early in the morning for the best flavour. Days to harvest: 58.
