Eco-Neem
Eco-Neem is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
This effective control for two-spotted mite, aphids, curl grubs, lawn armyworm, caterpillars, citrus leafminer, mealybugs, sooty mould, and whitefly on ornamentals, as well as fungus gnats in potting soil, is derived from a pure neem seed extract stabilized in a vegetable oil carrier.
Eco-Neem has a dual action: it disrupts the insect's molting process and life cycle progression, hindering their growth and development, and it also suppresses their feeding, leading to starvation. This broad-spectrum, botanically based insecticide is safe for beneficial insects that do not consume foliage. It is effective at low concentrations (dilute 1-3 ml per liter of water for leaf application; up to 5 ml per liter for soil drench).
While registered for a wider range of pests overseas, in Australia, it is currently approved for use on non-food crops only. However, Eco-neem holds international organic certification for both food and non-food crops, and a review is underway in Australia to potentially align its crop coverage with existing international approvals. Being made from a renewable resource, it has a low carbon footprint.
Active constituents: 11.82g/L AZADIRACHTIN A and B present as 29.55g/L Azadirachta indica extract.
Dilution: 1 - 3 ml per liter of water for foliar application; up to 5 ml per liter of water as a soil drench.
For Grasshoppers: Mix at a rate of 3 ml per liter of water. Spray at the first sign and repeat every 7 days if needed.
