Tracy of Darkwood, New South Wales, is so pleased with the response from her thoroughbred horses after
being given Natrakelp Liquid Seaweed that she decided to try some on her 'sick chooks'.
She now reports: You may also be interested to know that I'm now using the Natrakelp for my chooks. I don't know why I've been having problems with falling feathers (not the usual moult - I'm talking bald chooks here) and walking around on their hocks - with the way I feed them they shouldn't be deficient in anything! (layer pellets and wheat twice a day, with free-choice meat meal always available, as well as scraps and 100 acres of really good pasture to range in - lots of lovely goat and horse poo to dig around in, shell grit always available etc. etc. they really are terribly ungrateful to be unhealthy in any way, shape or form!) After culling one flock and starting again only to be faced with the same problem, I was at my wits end. The vet had no answers either 'they should be the healthiest chooks in history with the way you look after them!' In desperation I put a teaspoon of Natrakelp in their drinking water once a week and bingo! Three weeks later they're all walking properly and feathers are growing back like mad. I'm now putting a teaspoon in all the poultry's drinking water once a week in the hope that the low fertility rates in the turkeys and geese will be fixed up too. |
