A pretty basil with lavender-pink flowers and violet stems. The large, dark green leaves have a strong, spicy, cinnamon fragrance. Cinnamon basil can be used in the same way as ordinary basil in pasta dishes but it is also popular in fruit salads and to flavour hot drinks. Always add basil at the end of the cooking time to maximise its flavour.
