Heirloom 'Golden Acre' is an early, ball head variety 15 - 18 cm in diameter, weight 1.3 - 1.8 kg. The leaves are medium green and tightly packed. Eaten raw or cooked, it is an excellent source of Vitamin C. Try to use most of the outer leaves, as the darkest green leaves contain the most nutrients. It is easy to grow and does well on most soils. Days to harvest: 65 - 75.
