A disease resistant, open, leafy vegetable. It has very attractive, deep green leaves with maroon veins which develop into striking maroon leaves with light green undersides. It is useful as a quick fill-in. Harvest the thinnings for salads and use as a steamed green or in stirfries. This is an F1 hybrid so is not suitable for seed saving.
