Syn. 'Topepo Red' or 'Christmas Pepper' is a prolific Italian heirloom pimento variety. Versatile and delicious, it is juicy with a peppery sweet flavour. Fruit is round, 5 cm wide and long with thick flesh. It ripens from green to deep red. Traditionally pickled, it is excellent for stuffing or eating fresh in salads. Plants are sturdy and heavy and early bearing.
