'Joe E Parker' is an Anaheim type chilli; fruit turns from bright green to glossy deep red. Fruits reach 15 - 17 cm long x 5 cm wide on sturdy, highly productive plants. Usually eaten green, it is a great multi-purpose chilli. Flesh is thick, crisp with a mild heat and great flavour. A favourite for grilling, roasting and stuffing (chile rellenos). Scoville heat scale 500 - 2,500 units.
