Container: Use a jar, bag or dome sprouter
Soak time: Wash seed, then soak for 8 - 10 hours
Sow When: Try to avoid very hot or cold weather; temperatures between 16°C – 25°C work best
Quantity: 1 tbsp to a 650ml jar sprouter
Rinses per day: 2 - 4 times; avoid the seeds clumping together. If you can't be at home on hot days, refrigerate the sprouts until you get back
Harvest: 2 - 5 days
Yield: 1½ cups
Storage: Store well-drained sprouts in the fridge, use a container that breathes; avoid plastic bags; rinse every few days
