Red Winter' is an improved form of 'Red Russian' kale with dramatic-looking, leafy-green with purple stems and tender, red, wavy, oak-leaf-shaped leaves. It is extremely hardy; tolerant of both hot and cold weather. Grow it as a winter vegetable, as an ingredient in salad mixes or a garnish.
