Container: Use a jar sprouter or dome sprouter
Soak time: Wash seed, then soak for 4 - 8 hours
Sow When: Try to avoid very hot or cold weather; temperatures between 16 - 28°C work best
Quantity: 1 heaped tsp to a 650ml jar sprouter
Rinses per day: 2 - 3 times; avoid the seeds clumping together; if you can't be at home on hot days, refrigerate the sprouts until you get back
Harvest: 3 - 6 days
Storage: Store well-drained sprouts in the fridge, use a container that breathes; avoid plastic bags; rinse every few days
Details: As a microgreen use 5g (2 tsp) to a seedling tray; spread seed evenly on top of potting mix 2 cm deep, cover with a lid or damp paper towel, keep moist, place in a well-lit position; 16 - 25 days to harvest
