Zatta' is an Italian heirloom melon from the 16th century. The unusual looking fruit has deeply-ribbed, yellow and green skin with deep-orange, sweet, fragrant flesh with a great flavour. The fruit weigh up to 1.5 kg. It is referred to by some Italians as 'Brutto ma Buono' which translates to 'Ugly but Good'. Days to harvest: 85 - 90; harvest when the melon slips easily from the stem.
