Mammoth Spineless' has dark green and slightly ridged pods. Okra is an attractive addition to the vegetable garden with pretty, yellow, hibiscus-like flowers. It is a truly heritage vegetable having been grown by the ancient Egyptians. Serve fried, in soups and stews and use for pickling. Seeds can be roasted and ground as a coffee substitute. Young leaves can be steamed.
