Sow when: Germinate best at 21 - 35°C soil temp.; seed will rot in cold, wet soil; rodents and birds often steal seed, protect with an upturned pot

Harvest: 95 - 100 days: harvest pumpkins when fully coloured and the stem is brown. Pick with a stem, 6 cm long, dry in the sun before storing
