An ancient pumpkin that originated in central America. It has sweet, nutty, orange flesh and ripens with a green and orange streaked skin. The pumpkins are shaped like a pawpaw. Like all C. moschata types it tolerates hot humid weather better than C. maxima types. It has a high tolerance of mildew and pests. It dislikes very hot, dry weather. Days to harvest: 90.
