A Japanese teardrop-shaped, high-yielding variety. It has bright red-orange skin and yellow-orange, fine grained, dry flesh that is sweet and rich with a nutty flavour; weighs 2 - 3 kg and stores well.

Red Kuri' is 2-3 kg with a teardrop-shape. It is high-yielding. The bright red-orange skin and orange, fine grained, dry flesh has a sweet, nutty flavour; it stores well. Pumpkins need a large area, grow on a fence if space is limited. Pinch out ends of runners to encourage branching and increase yield.
