Small Sugar' is an heirloom variety introduced in the 1800's. The round, bright orange fruit weigh between 1.5 - 2 kg. The flesh is thick and sweet with a smooth texture. It is considered the best variety for making pies and is also good for baking, soup and casseroles. It stores well. A smaller vine that fits well into smaller gardens without rambling everywhere.
