The skin is a pale mauve that retains its colour when cooked. It can be eaten raw in salads, steamed, stirfried or pickled. It can be inter-planted with other crops such as carrots or beetroot for a fast harvest. The flowers are attractive to beneficial insects.This is an F1 hybrid so is not suitable for seed saving.
