Victoria Blue' provides vibrant spikes of blue from late spring to autumn. The prolific, dense spikes of blue contrast beautifully with the silver-grey foliage. The compact plants grow 40 to 60 cm in height. It is useful as a bedding plant, in cottage gardens and compact enough for large containers. The flowers are highly attractive to bees and a range of beneficial insects. Hardy and easy to grow from seed, in warmer areas it can be cut back to be grown as a biennial. Like many Salvias, it is native to Texas and New Mexico. It takes about 6 - 8 weeks from sowing to flowering.
