Lucullus' is an Italian heirloom silverbeet introduced around 1914, it was named after a Roman general who was famous for his vast gardens. The white stems contrast with heavily savoyed green leaves. A medium-sized silverbeet to 50 cm tall, it is highly productive and able to be 'cut and come again'. 'Lucullus' is particularly heat and cold tolerant and very easy to grow. It has been awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit. Days to harvest: 52 - 55.
