Melting Mammoth' is an heirloom, vigorous climbing pea that is very productive. The pods are particularly sweet, tender and 10 - 12 cm long. The large, white flowers are damaged by frost. To reduce fungal problems, try to avoid planting before periods of high humidity and avoid getting water on the leaves.

Sow when: Germinate best at 13 - 18°C soil temp.

Rows: 45 - 60 cm apart

Details: Lightly mulch seed rows to prevent crusting; water well once after sowing and then do not water again until seedlings appear
