Royal Carpet' is a low growing, long flowering annual giving dense mounds of beautiful violet-purple blooms. Fragrant clusters of tiny purple flowers are highly attractive to a range of beneficial insects including lady beetles, predatory bugs and braconid wasps. It is ideal to use in containers, baskets, rockeries, cottage gardens or as edging for flower beds. Hardy and easy to grow from seed, it is frost resistant but drought tender.
