Sweet Corn 'Jolly Roger'

$3.90

Jolly Roger' is an open-pollinated, Australian heirloom which produces one to two pale golden cobs on tall vigorous plants. It has a rich flavour that is sweeter with a lower starch content than most other open-pollinated sweet corn. This is also responsible for the seeds having a 'shrivelled' look which is due to the low starch content but doesn't affect germination. The leaves and stems are a good animal forage. Days to harvest: 70 - 90.
Grower John from Batehaven says "It is by far the sweetest open-pollinated corn I've grown."
