'Old Spice' is an intensely fragrant heirloom dating back to 1699 from Sicily. The flowers are smaller than modern types but make up for it with a wonderful smell and excellent heat resistance. They bloom predominantly purple and crimson but may include other shades of pink, blue, lavender and cream. Avoid getting water on the leaves to reduce fungal problems.
