Rouge de Marmande' is a French heirloom that produces clusters of 170 g deep red, slightly flattened, ribbed fruits that are up to 9 cm across. The fruit has an outstanding flavour and very few seeds. It is early maturing and will set fruit well in cooler conditions than other varieties. Good disease and pest resistance. Indeterminate type so requires staking. Days to harvest: 65 - 75.
